Good afternoon, my name is Ceema.
Not just Nullsec. Not just the builders, the PvPers, Lowsec, Highsec, or the Wormholers. I'm running to make sure every capsuleer has a seat at this table.
I started playing in 2007, after getting chased out of my World of Warcraft guild for trying to mediate a marital dispute on Teamspeak.
I came up through Highsec, moved to Nullsec, and worked my way from line member to recruitment manager to HR Director — always trying to get pilots more content. Along the way, through propaganda, memes, and shitposts on Reddit, I've crossed paths with nearly everyone in this game, on every side of it.
That's why I'm running for CSM 21. Not to represent a power bloc — to represent you.
“You folks are why I'm running.”
— CeemaI'm running for CSM. And no, it's not a bit.
I want to represent all of New Eden — not just Nullsec. Not just the industrialists, the PvPers, the Lowsec pirates, the Highsec grinders, or the Wormhole hermits. All of it.
When I started This EVE Life, I set myself a goal: talk to 100 pilots by the end of 2027, from every corner of EVE Online, EVE Vanguard, and EVE Frontier. I'm 35 in — new players finding their feet, streamers, guide writers who taught half of us how to fly, third-party devs, Frontier pioneers, Nullsec alliance leaders, Alliance Tournament legends.
“In EVE, it was never about the ships. It's about the people flying them.”
— CeemaWe as the CSM should be reaching out to all players regardless of what side their on. My outreach to you all won't stop once the podcast tour all the CSM Candidates do on various Twitch Streams is over and I've won the seat. I'll set aside time of my day on Saturday to do an “Office Hour” Stream where you're welcome to come on and chat w/ me and the rest of new Eden about your idea and feed back.
I may not be a subject matter expert on the game, but I know you folks are. Lets chat, so I can take your data points and get them to the right people.
Beyond a few posts here and there, I saw little communication and discourse. I'll be posting the question to Fenris Creations if we can't improve upon this in the form of CSM Minutes as much as the NDA allows, shared with you all and an AMA hour etc. on my stream or others with my peers if there amicable to it, and if allowed. We represent you, not our alliances.
That's it. I want to see more bi directional communication between the CSM, and the players. If Ang, the last airbender was the bridge between the spirit world and humanity, I will be your bridge between Fenris and Players. If elected, I'll encourage my peers on the council to do likewise. This way we're not “a one bridge having city” as is Philadelphia, according to Bill Bur.
I will advocate that the phrases “TEST Is Dead/Next” be a violation of the EULA and punishable w/ a 3 hour suspension per use.
TEST has suffered enough for their past. Lets all move on and let them grow and have fun.
Ask that Fenris Creations declare July 4th every year “Dark Shines Day” in celebration of the Initiatives Leader who, on a visit to the US, saved my life from a runaway donkey at the pumpkin patch I took him to show him the most October of American things to do.
If you want more, or you want me to have a 41 page manifesto of promises I can't actually keep, nor should I even have going to represent you to the Space Vikings we all pay $20 a month for to play this game, then I'm not really your man.
And for that, I am sorry.
Undock pings, episode drops, and campaign updates all happen in the Discord alongside the rest of the This EVE Life crew.
